IF Awards 2009 & 2010
6dc has been working with the Inside Film Awards since 2009, executing a comprehensive and strategic media campaign to drive ratings for Australian films as well as promoting the awards themselves. By implementing a tactical rollout of media announcements and talent interviews as well as onsite media management on the night itself, we have grown the cut through of the awards year on year.
By introducing an FTP site to the event for media access and leveraging champions we opened up the brand to international coverage and more widespread uptake locally, cementing the IF Awards as Australia’s leading people’s choice film awards. In 2009, we generated coverage valued at over $6 million, a 300% increase on the previous year and in 2010 we grew this to over $11 million.
